Civil and Commercial Litigation: From developing a pre-litigation strategy to the successful resolution of a case, Eric Imperial provides a wide range of services to businesses and individuals who are involved in lawsuits. His litigation experience covers multiple practice areas, including breach of contract, real estate, intellectual property, products liability and wrongful death. Eric guides his clients through each stage of the litigation process by advising them on pre-litigation alternatives, developing a successful litigation plan and aggressively conducting discovery to ensure resolution of each matter by trial, mediation or settlement.

Insurance Coverage: Eric Imperial works with policyholders in disputes against their insurance companies. He has represented his clients in a variety of insurance coverage claims and matters, including commercial general liability, environmental, products liability and first party property policies. Eric has negotiated buyouts of existing coverage and litigated with insurance companies to obtain coverage.

Military Justice: Drawing on his experience as a Reserve Officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Eric proudly advises and represents members of the uniformed services in the full range of administrative and judicial forums. He has significant experience in appeals from courts-martial convictions.

Personal Injury: Eric represents individuals who have been seriously injured as well as the families of those who have died as the result of an accident, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, or other personal injury matters.

Family Law: Eric is dedicated to obtaining the best results for his clients in difficult matrimonial disputes, child custody, support and other domestic relations matters. These family law matters may include litigation, child custody and visitation, division of marital assets, paternity issues, alimony, property and asset valuation and mediation services. Given the court’s emphasis on resolving family law matters outside of the courtroom, Eric strives to settle his clients’ cases through settlement conferences, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
